The March box should have arrived to everyone's doorstep by now...or getting pretty close.
Can't wait to show everyone what was this month's box, which we called The Heart of the Camper Box. The kitchen is the heart of every home, and it is no different in the camper, so all things in this box revolved this box.
First was this fun set of handmade pot holders. We used this great Route 66 License Plate fabric for the centers with coordinating borders. Each has a center of cotton batting and insul-brite (a heat resistant material). We added a loop to make it easy to hang it out of the way if drawer storage space is an issue.
We embroidered two cotton dish towels. We kept the color scheme and theme to match the pot holders. These are large towels that also have a loop for easy hanging.
When we saw these super cute camper salt and pepper shakers, we knew we had to include them in this box. They are ceramic and have stoppers on the bottom to make filling them a breeze. They even have a magnet so they can attach at the bumper.
As always, in each box we include a recipe card and a post card. This month's recipe was BBQ Breakfast Scramble. Yum! We love putting a post card in each box. You can keep it and just love the camping theme, send it to a friend, or like us, send it to yourself from your camping trip. We always have everyone on the trip sign it, but our campground info on it and take it to the nearest post office and mail it home. Makes a treasured keepsake!
And last but not least, we always include a list of the contents of the box.
We hope you have enjoyed seeing what all was in the Heart of the Camper box from Camper Sweet Camper. Next month's theme is Making Memories One Campsite at a Time.
